From dimensions to a client quote in one minute.
QUAY works out the chargeable weight, adds your margin or markup and sends a clean PDF quote to your client. On your Android phone, offline, without an account.
Three steps, the way you already quote.
Pieces in, chargeable weight out
Up to 20 piece lines in cm and kg, decimal comma accepted. QUAY applies the right rule for air, express or LCL and shows which side drives the charge.
Buy costs, then your margin
Add freight, fuel, security, handling or any charge line. Choose margin or markup: QUAY keeps them apart, so 20% means what you meant.

What forwarders ask first
How does QUAY calculate air freight chargeable weight?
It adds up the actual weight and the volumetric weight of all pieces, where volumetric weight is length × width × height in cm divided by 6000. The greater of the two is rounded up to the next 0.5 kg.
What about express and courier shipments?
Express is rated per piece with a 5000 divisor: each piece is the greater of its weight and its volumetric weight, rounded up to 0.5 kg, then multiplied by the number of pieces.
And LCL sea freight?
LCL uses W/M (weight or measure): the greater of the volume in cubic metres and the weight in metric tons, with a minimum of 1 W/M, rounded up to 0.01.
What is the difference between margin and markup?
Markup adds a percentage to your cost: sell = cost × (1 + p). Margin is a share of the sell price: sell = cost ÷ (1 − p). A cost of 1,000 with 20% markup sells at 1,200; with a 20% margin it sells at 1,250.
Does QUAY convert currencies or quote full containers?
No. The currency is the one you quote in, without exchange rates. QUAY covers air, express and LCL; full container loads (FCL) are not part of it.
Is it available on iPhone?
Not yet. QUAY runs on Android phones. The free web calculator works on any device.
